MOV : അവന്റെ കാലത്തു ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ് നേസർ പുറപ്പെട്ടുവന്നു; യെഹോയാക്കീം മൂന്നു സംവത്സരം അവന്നു ആശ്രിതനായി ഇരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അവൻ തിരിഞ്ഞു അവനോടു മത്സരിച്ചു. അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ കൽദയരുടെ പടക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളെയും അരാമ്യർ, മോവാബ്യർ, അമ്മോന്യർ എന്നിവരുടെ പടക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളെയും അവന്റെ നേരെ അയച്ചു;
KJV : In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.

ERVEN : The Lord sent groups of Babylonians, Arameans, Moabites, and Ammonites to fight against Jehoiakim. He sent them to destroy Judah. This happened just as the Lord had said. He used his servants the prophets to say those things.

KJV : Surely at the commandment of the LORD came [this] upon Judah, to remove [them] out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;

ERVEN : The Lord commanded this to happen to Judah. In this way he would remove them from his sight. He did this because of all the sins that Manasseh committed.

MOV : അവൻ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം ചൊരിയിച്ചു യെരൂശലേമിനെ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തംകൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചതും ക്ഷമിപ്പാൻ യഹോവെക്കു മനസ്സായില്ല.
KJV : And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.

KJV : And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.

ERVEN : The king of Babylon captured all the land between the Brook of Egypt and the Euphrates River. This land was previously controlled by Egypt. So the king of Egypt did not leave Egypt anymore.

MOV : യെഹോയാഖീൻ വാഴ്ചതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു പതിനെട്ടു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ മൂന്നുമാസം വാണു. അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു നെഹുഷ്ഠാ എന്നു പേർ; അവൾ യെരൂശലേമ്യനായ എൽനാഥാന്റെ മകൾ ആയിരുന്നു.
KJV : Jehoiachin [was] eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother’s name [was] Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.

ERVEN : King Jehoiachin of Judah went out to meet the king of Babylon. His mother, his officers, leaders, and officials also went with him. Then the king of Babylon captured Jehoiachin. This was during the eighth year of Nebuchadnezzar's rule.

KJV : And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said.

ESV : and carried off all the treasures of the house of the LORD and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold in the temple of the LORD, which Solomon king of Israel had made, as the LORD had foretold.
ERVEN : Nebuchadnezzar took from Jerusalem all the treasures in the Lord's Temple and all the treasures in the king's palace. He cut up all the golden dishes that King Solomon of Israel had put in the Lord's Temple. This happened just as the Lord had said.

MOV : എല്ലാ യെരൂശലേമ്യരെയും സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും സകല പരാക്രമശാലികളും ആയി പതിനായിരം പേരെയും എല്ലാ ആശാരിമാരെയും കൊല്ലന്മാരെയും അവൻ ബദ്ധരാക്കി കൊണ്ടുപോയി; ദേശത്തു എളിയജനം മാത്രമല്ലാതെ ആരും ശേഷിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല.
KJV : And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, [even] ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
YLT : And he hath removed all Jerusalem, and all the chiefs, and all the mighty ones of valour -- ten thousand [is] the removal -- and every artificer and smith, none hath been left save the poor of the people of the land.
RV : And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths; none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.

ERVEN : Nebuchadnezzar captured all the people of Jerusalem, including the leaders and other wealthy people. He took 10,000 people and made them prisoners. He took all the skilled workers and craftsmen. No one was left, except the poorest of the common people.

MOV : യെഹോയാഖീനെ അവൻ ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി; രാജമാതാവിനെയും രാജഭാര്യമാരെയും അവന്റെ ഷണ്ഡന്മാരെയും ദേശത്തിലെ പ്രധാനികളെയും അവൻ ബദ്ധരാക്കി യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
KJV : And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king’s mother, and the king’s wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, [those] carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
YLT : And he removeth Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the mother of the king, and the wives of the king, and his eunuchs, and the mighty ones of the land -- he hath caused a removal to go from Jerusalem to Babylon,
RV : And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon; and the king-s mother, and the king-s wives, and his officers, and the chief men of the land, carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.

ESV : And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon. The king's mother, the king's wives, his officials, and the chief men of the land he took into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
ERVEN : Nebuchadnezzar took Jehoiachin to Babylon as a prisoner. He also took the king's mother, his wives, officers, and the leading men of the land. He took them from Jerusalem to Babylon as prisoners.

MOV : സകല ബലവാന്മാരുമായ ഏഴായിരംപേരെയും ആശാരിമാരും കൊല്ലന്മാരുമായ ആയിരം പേരെയും ഇങ്ങനെ യുദ്ധപ്രാപ്തന്മാരായ സകല വീരന്മാരെയും ബാബേൽരാജാവു ബദ്ധരാക്കി ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
KJV : And all the men of might, [even] seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all [that were] strong [and] apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
YLT : and all the men of valour seven thousand, and the artificers and the smiths a thousand, the whole [are] mighty men, warriors; and the king of Babylon bringeth them in a captivity to Babylon.
RV : And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths a thousand, all of them strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
RSV : And the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon all the men of valor, seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths, one thousand, all of them strong and fit for war.
ASV : And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths a thousand, all of them strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
ESV : And the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon all the men of valor, 7,000, and the craftsmen and the metal workers, 1,000, all of them strong and fit for war.
ERVEN : There were 7000 soldiers. Nebuchadnezzar took all of the soldiers and 1000 of the skilled workers and craftsmen. All of these men were trained soldiers, ready for war. The king of Babylon took them to Babylon as prisoners.

KJV : And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father’s brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
YLT : And the king of Babylon causeth Mattaniah his father`s brother to reign in his stead, and turneth his name to Zedekiah.
RV : And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father-s brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.

ERVEN : The king of Babylon made Mattaniah the new king. Mattaniah was Jehoiachin's uncle. He changed his name to Zedekiah.

KJV : And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
